LONGSTRIP FLOORING
Longstrip is an extremely versatile laminated flooring which most typically is applied utilizing the European method of "floating" the flooring planks on a 1/8" foam pad, however this product can also be installed directly to the subfloor via traditional methods of gluing or nailing. Laminated longstrip is available in a number of species from the two manufacturers Rawles-Aden proudly represents, Boen Hardwood, and Sun Paratech, whose longstrip is sold under the trade name California Longstrip. Longstrip can be applied above or below grade, and, also, above subfloors with radiant heat. Rawles-Aden longstrip floors are completely factory prefinished, low maintenance, and easy to install. Rawles-Aden Longstrip is ready made prefinished laminated long strip plank which provides distinctive appearance, superior strength, stability and durability along with exceptional value. 
Surface wear layer is solid 1/8" lumber instead of rotary cut veneer. It can be sanded and refinished after years of usage or re-stained to match a new color decorating scheme. Unlike bevel edge plank, our precise square edge doesn't allow collection of dust or dirt between the planks. Each plank is prefinished with six layers of U.V. cured acrylic for protection and ease of maintenance. The planks are cross laminated for high dimensional stability, precisely machined tongue and groove and end matched for ease of application. Longstrip can be installed on any grade sub-floor. With the floating floor installation system, there are no mastic fumes, sanding dust or waxing. Rawles-Aden Longstrip can be walked on the same day of installation. |
